The just released Aurora Corporate v8.8, a self-hosted business email and groupware suite, can now integrate with OnlyOffice to enable editing documents of modern Office formats via the web browser directly in Aurora.
Aurora Files, an open-source self-hosted file cloud, now supports this feature too.
With OnlyOffice integration enabled, your users can view, create and edit text documents, spreadsheets and presentations in DOCX, XLSX and PPTX formats. More supported formats are coming in next releases!
Document editing is collaboration-ready: multiple users can edit the same document in real-time. History of changes (versioning) is coming soon.
Note that OnlyOffice is a separate product from another vendor and is licensed separately. If you don't have a license, you can select the one which fits your case on the Compare ONLYOFFICE Docs editions page.
