We're pleased to announce the new release of both .NET and COM/ActiveX versions of MailBee e-mail components. The new release mainly focuses on security-related features, such as S/MIME.
What's new in MailBee.NET Objects v12.5:
Support for multiple signing certificates in S/MIME. S/MIME parser can now detect if the message is encrypted or signed when this information is not available in the message headers. S/MIME can now sign messages using SHA384/SHA512 algorithms. Bug fixes and misc. improvements in the e-mail address parser. License key stored in app.config is now recognized by .NET Core builds of MailBee.NET Objects. What's new in MailBee Objects v9.5 (COM/ActiveX):
CertInfo object now supports Status and Win32Status properties to let the developer get the status of S/MIME certificate validation. MailBee DLLs are now compiled with Dynamic Base (ASLR) compiler option. This is a security enhancement. SMIME object stability improvements and memory leak fixes. SMIME object documentation fixes. If you're eligible for this upgrade and your maintenance contract is still valid, you can keep using your existing MN120 and MBC900 license key for .NET and COM version respectively. Otherwise, contact us to request the upgrade options.
