MailBee Objects ActiveX v9.1 enables support of international e-mail addresses (IDN)

Wednesday, 25 October 2017

Today, Afterlogic announces the new release of MailBee Objects ActiveX library, now with IDN domains support.

New methods Message.EscapeIdnDomain and Message.UnescapeIdnDomain let you convert domain parts of e-mail addresses to and from Punycode presentation. Domain names containing only ASCII characters are left intact. You can use IDN-ized e-mail addresses for both sending and receiving messages via all supported protocols (SMTP, IMAP4, POP3).

Besides that, the update also addresses a few minor issues in the code and documentation.

This version does not introduce new license keys, you can keep using your existing MBC900 key.
