WebMail Pro PHP v7.7 is out. It just got better

Wednesday, 01 March 2017

Just released WebMail Pro PHP v7.7 provides a good deal of nice improvements, security and bug fixes. Just to name a few:

  • "Forward as attachment" feature.
  • "Advanced login" option (login.advanced setting).
  • An option to add attachments to calendar events (calendar.attach-file-to-event-enabled setting).
  • An option to re-send notifications when calendar events are changed (calendar.notification-enabled setting).
  • Improved responsiveness of desktop view on devices with smaller screen.
  • REST API now allows for managing channels and tenants. This feature is specific to multi-tenant groupware edition, Aurora.
  • Security improvements: stronger admin password encryption, secure attribute for session cookies, stronger restrictions on file manipulations on the server via API, etc.

For the full list of changes, refer to https://www.afterlogic.com/docs/webmail-pro/changelog

Settings mentioned above are turned off by default. See https://www.afterlogic.com/docs/webmail-pro/configuring-webmail/advanced-configuration-via-config-php-file on how to turn them on.

To upgrade, see https://www.afterlogic.com/docs/webmail-pro/installation/upgrading-instructions If you're upgrading from 7.x version, your license key remains the same.
